Over the weekend a friend of mine said that after a long, hard winter,
there's nothing better then sitting down to a plate of baby back ribs, a
few cold beers, a pile of wet-naps, and listening to 4 guys playing rock
and roll in a little BBQ restaurant in Annandale, NJ.

It just so happens this friend is Dave, the drummer in our band
Jellyroll.....but don't let that stop you from coming out this Saturday
night March 28th and hearing the songs you wish they still played on the
radio....(Disclaimer: You might actually hear these tunes if you have
Sirius Satellite Radio)...but come out anyway, cause there ain't no ribs
in your car.

Unionville Harvest Festival Saturday October 18th!! 12 - 5pm

The annual Harvest Festival at Unionville Vineyards is just around the
corner! Saturday October 18th from 12 - 5pm.

We just got the numbers in from last years festival. Over 2,000 people
attended! During the festival, six dozen pumpkins were painted, 3 llamas
were petted, 2 ponys were ridden a whopping 236 times each, 1364 hay
rides were taken, 996 vineyard tours experienced, 743 pulled pork
sandwiches and 522 bowls of gumbo were eaten, over 200 gallons of wine
were consumed, and after all that, only one attendee puked on the lawn
in front of the band!

A mere $10 admission for drinking adults will get you a complimentary
wine glass upon entry and allow you to taste the various fruits of the
vineyard's labor. $2 from each paid entry will go to the Flemington Food
Bank to help those in need, so come on out!

Non drinking adults only pay $5 to get in, and as always, KIDS ARE FREE!

The festival runs from 12 noon until 5pm. There will be wine, food, 5
hours of live music from Jellyroll, wine, hayrides through the vineyard,
wine, pumpkin picking and painting, wine, KIDS TENT, wine, local
crafters and artisans, wine, chocolate, cheese, and olive oil tastings,
wine, vineyard tours, wine, wine, and more wine.

Rain Date Sunday October 19th.

Summertime done, come and gone...my oh my!

Hello all! Hope your summer was a great one.

Jellyroll is debuting this Friday night at the Stagehouse in Scotch
Plains, NJ 9:30 - last call. The place is always packed, so come on out
for our debut show here and meet some locals.

NOTE: The Wine and Women Festival at Unionville Vineyards has been
CANCELLED. The owners are in the process of selling the vineyards, and
unfortunately we got word a few weeks ago that this festival is being
dropped. Stay tuned as they assured us the big Harvest Festival on the
weekend of 10/18 and 10/19 is still on.

Look for some new (and old venue) bookings in the coming weeks.

Unionville Winery Rescheduled

Just a note. We got a call from Unionville Vineyards over the weekend
and the Women and Wine festival we were playing on 6/7 has been
rescheduled for Saturday September 13th.

Jellyroll will be playing that festival Saturday 9/13 from 12 - 5pm at
Unionville Vineryards in Ringoes, NJ....and will also be playing their
2-day October Harvest Festival on October 18th and 19th this year.

Both festivals should be a lot of fun, with activities for kids young
and old and a ton of wine to drink, so hope you can all make it out.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Legion made a serious
scheduling mistake and the Benefit for Robert that we had planned(since
last November) for April 26th has been cancelled. We are in the process
of booking another Saturday in the Summer for this event, so hold tight
and we'll get the info on the re-scheduled show out as soon as we know
the details. Many thanks to everyone who volunteered to help out at this
event. We'll be in touch for the summer show.

Saturday April 12th Jellyroll is back at Pheasants Landing. No cover and
9pm start.

Friday April 25th we're at the BBQ. 9:30 pm start. Ribs, beer, and
Jellyroll. Minimal Cover.

They loved us at Barton's the other weekend so we're due back there the
last weekend in May. Thanks for coming out to support our debut show
there.

Think about coming out Saturday June 7th to the Unionville Vineyards all
day Festival to kick of the summer with wine and rock and roll. It's a
great vineyard, with some great people, mixed with some great wines.
Anyway you look at it, it's a lot of greatness. More details to come.

Jellyroll Debuts at Barton's Pub in Stirling, NJ this Saturday March 15th 9:30pm

Many thanks to everyone who braved the snow and filled the BBQ 2 weeks
ago. It was a great show and your incredible support landed us there for
the remainder of 2008. Thanks again!

This Saturday March 15th, Jellyroll is playing their debut show at
Barton's Pub in Stirling, NJ. It's a cool bar and restaurant that's been
a staple in that area for a long time. Come early for dinner and avoid
the pesky $3 cover at the door, or come later and help support 4
musicians with kids. 9:30pm - last call. Calling all Morris County
rollers for this one.

We were contacted by Unionville Vineyards last week and will be back at
their winery this summer for a warm weather Saturday festival, and again
in October for their huge, 2 day Harvest Festival. Last years Harvest
Fest was really a blast with thousands attending over 2 days, so mark
your calendars and down many fermented grapes with us! June 7th and
October 18th and 19th are the dates. Details to come.

We're working on the big Benefit for Robert which is taking place on
Saturday April 26th at the American Legion in Somerville. On top of
helping Robert, 3 great bands and food and desserts from local eateries
is what you'll get for buying a ticket to this very worthy cause. Robert
was diagnosed with Autism at age 2, and all proceeds from this event
will go toward his ongoing education and therapy. Thanks to everyone who
has already volunteered to help out with this event. If you would like
tickets, or would still like to volunteer your time, please contact us
for details.

We've got some new venues in the works and will send details once
they're booked.

Leap Year at the BBQ!

Many many thanks to everyone that came out to Pheasants last Saturday
night. The place was as packed as we've ever seen it, and it was great
to see you all out in the Underground Pub.

This Friday February 29th we are playing a Leap Year show at the Old
West BBQ in Annandale, NJ. It's right on Route 31 near Allerton Road and
they've got some great dry rubbed ribs for dinner. Throw in 3 sets of
Jellyroll and what more do you need.......besides beer? 9:30pm - last
call. Minimal cover if you don't come early for dinner or drinks.

We've been contacted by Barton's Pub and have scheduled a tentative date
with them on Saturday March 15th. This is a great opportunity for all
our Morris County peeps to come on down and get their Jellyroll.

We're back at Pheasants in April and have the big Benefit for Robert on
April 26th at the American Legion. Anyone interested in volunteering or

Just a reminder that tomorrow night Feb 16th Jellyroll is back at
Pheasant's Landing in Hillsborough, NJ. 9pm - midnight and no cover
charge at the door.

Also, the gig next Friday 2/22 at Barton's Pub has been cancelled. The
band we were filling in for had some communication issues, and I'll
leave it at that.....See what we get for trying to help them out? Our
apologies to the Morris County crew who was heading down on the 22nd. We
should be in there in March or April.

Also, a huge thank you to Bruce Jepson who filled in for Tony who unfortunately, was stuck home sick with a bad case of the flu...get better mang. We threw Bruce a lot of curve balls and he handled them like I-Rod on steroids(both the 'cream' AND the 'clear').

Jellyroll's debut at the Green Knoll Grille is this Friday night, January 12th @ 9:30pm. The GKG is located right on Rt. 206 south in Bridgewater, NJ. We'll be playing 3 long sets and have worked out a bunch of new tunes to try for you and yours. There's no cover, and apparently many concoctions to be made with Red Bull and hard alcohol at the GKG, so don't be a stranger.

For this debut event, a select few who sign the e-mail list on Friday night will get the unqualified pleasure of doing shots with our drummer Dave on behalf of the band. Ask anyone in the know, that right there is almost worth the no cover charge!

A very special thanks to the Mayor of Frenchtown who came out in support of his 2nd favorite band, Jellyroll(of course), at our gig at the one and only Rat last weekend. He made it in for the end of the last song, 'A Tribute to the Mayor of Frenchtown'. Talk about coincidence!

This weekend kicks off on Friday night the 17th with some more post wedding antics at the ever popular Tap Room of the Somerset Hills Hotel. We're on from 10pm - 1am and there's never a cover charge, which is a good thing, considering the price of beer there! Be sure to introduce yourself and we'll tell everyone it's your birthday to help with the beer costs, unless it really is your birthday, in which case we want nothing to do with you.

Then on Saturday night, we're back for our monthly gig at Christie's in Glen Gardener. One of our fans once said that Christie's is "a mix between a bunch of blue hairs visiting the Price is Right from Erie, PA on acid, and a Knights of Columbus Bingo Thursday....minus the cigarette smoke....and with dinner specials". That just about sums it up. 8pm kick off. No cover.

We're back from a short hiatus in both Las Vegas and the great north counrty where we spent our time drinking Kakanee beer, playing roulette, and pondering the finer points of smallmouth bass fishing. We wanted to let you know about the upcoming fall dates for Jellyroll which kick off this Saturday night at the always delightful Christie's Restaurant in Glen Gardner, NJ.

That's right, we're back at Christie's for another night of dinner music,followed by dance music,and chock-full of non-Nickleback tunes. We'll be starting promptly at 8pm EST. Many thanks to all of you came out to our Tap Room and Rathskellar gigs last weekend and especially to all of you who got out and shook it on the dance floors! Despite the shuttle breaking down, one wedding party was still in full effect at the hotel, and we saw a few patrons taking our advice with the bridesmaids. Just goes to show, love and vodka ARE perfect together!

This Friday night September 1st, we're back at Christie's on Rt 31 in Glen Gardener for some early dinner music @ 8pm followed by some rock n' roll. There's a special birthday happening, so come on down and join all the Jellyroll dancers who will be out in full force this Friday, drinking heavily and probably knocking over that shrimp fountain they put too close to the dance floor. No Cover. 8pm - midnight-ish.

Next weekend, September 9th, join us as we break into the Morris County music scene like a 400 lb thief in the night. We've got our debut gig at the Rattlesnake Ranch in Denville, NJ. Summertime....come and gone, my oh my!

Heynow! Just wanted to send out a few thank you's and then let y'all know about a bunch of upcoming Jellyroll shows.

Many thanks to everyone who came down to this year's Midway Beach Party, helping make it a huge success. It was one for the ages. We had an amazing time playing and partying and wanted to send out a special thank you to Dominic, our gracious host,for having us down on the dunes to play again. Anytime my friend. Pictures to come.

Also, congratulations are in order for Greg and Dee Hahn, who had us over to play their after-wedding party yesterday afternoon outside at the American Legion in Bridgewater. The booze was certainly flowing as many can attest(you know who you are!) and the pork was pulled. Some amazing eats from Uncle Buck and Co. and a great time all around. Best of luck you two!

This Friday night, August 25th, Jellyroll will be back at the ever popular Tap Room of the Somerset Hills Hotel in Warren, NJ. 10pm - 1am and no cover charge. Try your luck as a "wedding crasher" as the Tap Room dance floor is usually littered with post-wedding romance.

Many thanks to all of you who came out to our return show at the Rat in Frenchtown. Special thanks to Alex for sitting in on harmonica with us for the 2nd set, that was a lot of fun, and a very happy birthday to Brian of the Frenchtown-shire.

This Saturday night we're back on Rt 31. at Christie's in Glen Gardener for some music to eat dinner by. If you're more of a drinker, we really like your style...and we will be playing some good ol' drinking music following the eating music. Fear not dessert eaters, by request, there will be 15 minutes of dessert music happening precisely at 9pm for all you sweet-tooths.

American Cancer Society Relay For Life

We wanted to tell you about the upcoming American Cancer Society Relay For Life Benefit that will be taking place on Saturday June 10th and 11th at Phillipsburg High School Stadium.

Relay For Life� is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back against this disease. During the event, teams of people will gather at Phillipsburg High School Stadium, and take turns walking or running laps. Each team keeps at least one team member on the track at all times.

Relay is much more than a walk around a track. It is a time to remember those lost to cancer and celebrate those who have survived. It is a night for people who have shared the same experience to comfort and console one another.

You can help support this great cause in various ways. First, you can create a team to walk on that Saturday-Sunday and get donations. Or you can support a team already enrolled in the event via your donation. Finally, you can attend the event that Saturday and make a donation at the gate. There will be many local and national music acts providing entertainment that Saturday all day long, as well as fun and games for kids of all ages. Jellyroll will be playing a 2 hour set following the opening ceremonies which start at 12 noon. We'll be on the stage from 1pm - 3pm.

This Saturday night, May 13th, Jellyroll is back in Glen Gardener at Christie's on Rt 31 North. We'll be starting with a mellower dinner set at 8pm followed by one or two more sets of "the rock" once everyone has digested their meals. Never a cover charge, so come out and see why Dave calls Christie's his home away from home...

We've just got word that preparations for the big Relay For Life Benefit in Phillipsburg are underway for Saturday June 10th. The event will be raising money for kids cancer research, and will be held on the field of Phillipsburg High School Stadium. Suggested donations are $10 for this extremely worthy cause at the door, and it will be a day full of music and family fun from many local and national music acts. Come out and support this local effort! Jellyroll kicks things off at 1pm after the opening ceremonies.

Saturday August 5th is the date for the biggest party of the summer! The Annual Midway Beach Party will be held on the sand and surf of Midway Beach, NJ. Last year, there were 2 roasted pigs, 6 kegs, 40 thirty packs, $1500 of tequilla and rum, 8 blenders, 1 live band, 1 movie screen, and close to 250 extremely satisfied attendees. This Saturday March 25th, we're at Christie's Restaurant (used to be called the Riverside), a new venue for us (2035 Rt 31 South) in Glen Gardener, NJ. We'll be breaking it all down and playing some mellow acoustic dinner music for those who are having their meals on a plate or in a pint. We kick off at 8pm and there's no cover charge. Come on out and try the great eats, and make some acoustic requests.....not that we'll play them, but they're always fun to hear. Should the need arise once the dinner crowd leaves, we'll be kicking into high gear and busting out the electric whoopin' stick so that the blue hairs can get their groove on Jellyroll style!

We just found out we'll be volunteering at the Race for Life Benefit for Kids Cancer on Saturday June 10th at Phillipsburg High Stadium. Many thanks to everyone who came out to our debut at the Tap Room at the Somerset Hills Hotel last show. The place was packed to the gills and the dance floor was filled with drunken ladies from 2 different weddings. Well, spring has sprung, and that can only mean one thing......Jellyroll is back at the Rathskellar in Frenchtown for more underground debauchery.

This Saturday night March 18th from 9pm - midnight, come out to the Rat, eat their food and drink their drinks. It will be a night of festive Irish folk classics and there'll even be a dirty limmerick contest for you silver-tongued fans that attend.

Guest musician Mr. Mojo Alex, who plays a mean blues harp, will be sitting in with us again for the 2nd set.....keeping your feet on the dance floor and your livers in the suds.

Well, with March Madness upon us, Jellyroll is making the move into new counties and uncharted territories! This Saturday March 4th, we'll be at the Tap Room at the Somerset Hills Hotel in Warren, NJ. It's our first time at this venue, and there's no cover charge, so come on out and rub elbows with NJ's drunken elite....or try your luck at picking up those tipsy bridesmaid from the Smith wedding party....when they return to the hotel, trolling for cocktails. Either way, get yer Jellyroll fix Somerset Hills Hotel style.....whatever that means.

Then on Saturday March 18th, we're back at our most favorite of venues, The Rat in Frenchtown, NJ. Come on out and hear Steve tickle your Wild Irish Rose with some old St. Patty's Day favorites, as well as some new tunes we've been working on for our Frenchtown Faithful as we like to call them. 9pm - midnight - No Cover.

We'd like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out to the Rat to see us last show....it was a lot of fun and we appreciated all the drunken dancing that was going on.....did anyone get the name of that lady who was actually licking that pole while doing what looked like the Charleston?!? We've got our good friend Joe Orr from Mercer County's maximum acoustic rock band RESISTANT to EXTINCTION opening up the night with a great set of acoustic tunes, followed by 2 electric sets of the sweet, sugary sounds of Jellyroll....now with FD&C Yellow #5.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is finding as much comfort in their new pant sizes as I am.

With Xmas right around the corner, Jellyroll wants to do their part to make this holiday as cheerful and financially un-taxing as the next band....so we'll be kicking off the Xmas season this Friday night, December 2nd with a Coors Light Classic Rock Party at Errico's Nightclub located on Rt 12 West in Frenchtown, NJ.

There'll be $1 Coors beer specials all night long, so you'll still have enough cake left to buy your girl that diamond tennis bracelet for Xmas she always wanted...think of it as penny slots, only with hops and barley! And the beautiful Coors Light girls will be in attendence, so you can take photos to blackmail all your married friends!

We'll be sharing the stage with Resistant to Extinction, who will be opening up the night for us with their special blend of Maximum Acoustic Rock at 10pm. We will then be closing out the night with all your favorite Jellyroll jams.
